Pick two chefs, one red and one blue, and ride them from the first service to the black jackets.
Gordon Ramsay splits a brigade of chefs into a red team and a blue team that compete in challenges and dinner services, and after each service the losing team nominates chefs for Ramsay to send home. When about five remain, the survivors earn black jackets and compete as individuals. The final two each run a finale service, and Ramsay alone picks the winner.

Rules
The proposed rulebook for when Hell’s Kitchen opens.
Picks and the lock
Each player picks two chefs who are still in the competition. Picks lock at 11:59 PM on the night of the first episode in which a chef leaves, and can't be changed after you confirm. Several players may pick the same chef.
One red, one blue
When you pick, one chef must be on the red team and one on the blue team. If the season starts without two teams, this rule is off. Hosts can turn it off before the party starts.
When scoring starts
Scoring starts with the episode after the lock and runs through the finale. Episodes that aired before your party was created don't count.
Team switches
If Ramsay moves a chef to the other team, your pick stays. Team results count for the team the chef was on when that challenge or service started.
Joint results
If both teams win a service, both score. If both teams lose, nobody gets the service win. A tied challenge counts as a win for both teams.
Eliminations
A chef sent home by any route scores -10 and nothing after that. Eliminated picks stay on your team and are never replaced.
Voluntary and medical exits
Quitting or being removed for conduct scores -10. Leaving for medical reasons scores 0. If the broadcast doesn't say which, it's treated as medical.
Returning chefs
If Ramsay brings a chef back, their earlier -10 stays and they score again from the episode they return. Former contestants in finale brigades or anniversary episodes never score.
Finale
Every chef who runs a finale service gets the finale bonus, and the chef Ramsay names as winner gets the win bonus. Results stay as aired, even if the prize changes later.
Ties
Equal totals share a rank. Hosts can turn on a display-only tie-breaker: more finale points first, then the pick who lasted longest.
Late joiners
Friends can join and pick until the lock. After that, the party is closed to new members.
Source of truth and corrections
Results come from the FOX broadcast as aired and publish after the Pacific airing. Social media and spoiler sites don't count. If something is unclear on screen, it isn't scored, and any correction is audited and recalculated for every party.
